FAQ

Features are assigned after careful viewing of videos, pictures, and reviews of the commercial. Specifically, these are the criteria by which the various features are assigned:
🐟 Shallow water: is assigned if there is at least about 30 meters of water with a maximum of 1 meter in height
🧈 Flat water: is primarily assigned if the spot is located in a lagoon or sheltered bay
〰️ Waves 1-3m: is assigned if for more than 70% of the days per year there are waves of about 3 meters maximum
🌊 Waves 3m+: is assigned if for more than 70% of the days per year there are waves of more than 3 meters
🤩 Beginner Friendly: is assigned if there is shallow water and/or flat water and also the avarage wind range is between 12-22 kts (top conditions for learning).
👦🏻 Family Friendly: is assigned if there are resorts equipped for vacationing or other activities to do near the spot
🛌🏻 Hotel on the spot: is assigned if there is at least 3 accomodations within 150 meters of the spot
🚐 Van Friendly: is assigned if there is at least one camper/van area (free or paid) within 150 meters of the spot
