Belle Mare in Mauritius is a renowned kitesurfing spot on the east coast of the island. Its shallow, crystal-clear waters and consistent, moderate winds make it an ideal spot for kitesurfers of all levels.
The best time to visit Belle Mare is from May to October, when the winds are consistent and the waters are warm. During the winter months, the winds tend to be more gusty and strong, making it more suitable for advanced riders.
The area around Belle Mare is filled with plenty of activities, from sailing to wakeboarding, kayaking and SUP. After a long day of riding, there are plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy, as well as a wide selection of local shops where you can find all the gear you need.
